This electronic conversion kit includes everything needed to make your vacuum headlight doors operate like the factory RS doors but without the need for any RS vacuum components or RS wiring. Simple installation, reliable and the perfect alternative to the original vacuum RS headlight door control system. Installs easily to existing or aftermarket headlight assemblies without any cutting or fabrication to your Camaro body. Minor modification is required to the headlamp assemblies (refer to instructions for details).
Consists of two heavy-duty motors with electronics. Two wires connected to your existing headlight wiring or directly to your headlamp lugs trigger the control circuit to operate the headlight doors as the headlight switch is turned on or off. The wiring is straightforward and contained close to the headlamp with no wires to the dash or firewall. Installs completely out of view. Made with the best available materials including steel motor cans, steel gears, steel gear cases, CNC machined brackets, premium hardened electronics and weatherproof aluminum enclosures. |
